Ms. Newman has been teaching in the Beverly Hills Unified School District since 1992.   From 1992-2013 she taught many courses at Beverly Hills High School including: 9-12 grade English, EL, was the Director of Student Activities (ASB) for 13 years and spent 2 years as a Teacher on Special Assignment for the District.

 

In 2014, Ms. Newman started teaching at Moreno High School. At Moreno she teaches English, many electives and facilitates Personal Guidance with Maple Center.

 

In 2019, in addition to MHS, Ms. Newman opened the Independent Learning Center (ILC) which houses both MHS and Independent Study for BHUSD.

 

Ms. Newman loves working with the students and staff in the ILC.
